Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California on Febrary 24 1955. He was an extraordinary inventor 

and human being, Steve has left his mark in five industries: personal computers with Apple II and 

Macintosh, music with iPod and iTunes, phone with iPhone, and animation with Pixar. 

He has changed millions of lives by making technology easy-to-use.

 About his personal life, he was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs. As a child, Steve preferred doing things

by himself. He swam competitively, but was not interested in team sports, he showed an early interest in 

electronics and gadgetry.  With 12 years Steve Jobs has his first deep contact with the tecnologhy He 

worked for Hewlett-Packard Explorer Club. 

In 1976 he and Wozniak formed their own company called  Apple Computer Company, in memory of a 

happy summer Jobs had spent picking apples.This one was the beginning of his successful career. 

Jobs suffered a serious health issues over the years. In 2004, he announced he had a rare  form of 


pancreatic cancer and had a tumor successfully removed from his pancreas later that year. 

On October 5, 2011, around 3:00 p.m., Jobs died at his home in Palo Alto, California, aged 56, six weeks

after resigning as a chief executive officer of Apple. The death of Steve Jobs  has brought the iGeneration into the 

streets to place flowers and candles outside Apple stores, in the whole world.

He was truly a visionary who changed the way we use a phone, listen to music and communicate with family 

and friends. But the world  not only lost a visionary and creative genius,  the world has lost an amazing 

human being,

Pizza recipe

INGREDIENTS

Dough                                          

·        Flour              8,8 ounces

·        Salt                0,1 ounces

·       Water            7,62 cubic inch
·        Oil                 1,52 cubic inch

·     Yeast             0,35 ounces

Filling

·        Sauce of tomatoes         7,62 cubic inch

·        Mozzarella 250 g           8,8 ounces

·        Tomatoes                        2         

·        Salt

·       Garlic                           a clove of garlic

·        Parsley                            0,52 ounces

·        Geeen Olives                      10

·        Olive Oil                      1,22 cubic inch

PROCEDure

Dough


Put the flour with the salt on the counter
Make a hole in the center to form a crown.
Put warm water into a bowl whith oil and yeast, mix to dissolve yeast and pour the center of the crown.
Start gradually integrated to form the loaf, knead for 7 minutes on floured counter. covercake with plastic wrap and let rest 20 minutes.
Roll out the dough and place on floured plate.




Filling


Placed on top with the sauce, leaving a border of 1 cm.
Distribute the chopped mozzarella and bring the oven for 10 minutes.
Remove and cover with sliced ​​tomatoes.
Salt, sprinkle garlic and parsley, and drizzle with olive insert a thread of olive oil.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Remove, cut and file away.

Hi everybody! We’re students at Sarmiento high school, we´re in fifth year and we would like to talk about our trip to London and share our experience with you.

London is one of the most important cities in Europe and the world, it´s the capital city of England. There are people coming from all over the world, with different culture, religion and languages, but English is the most spoken one.

This city has the most international visitors of any city in the world; it attracts 20 million international visitors per year. So if you want to visit to London you need to know: the weather, the transport, the British currency, the hostel, the map, and much more.

• The weather is unpredictable, oscillating between rain and sunshine within the space of minutes.  For that reason, you should be prepared to expect all four seasons in one day and get dressed accordingly!  London in Summer is very beautiful,  but  always unpredictable so you should bring a light jacket and a waterproof just in case it rains!

• The British currency is still pounds Sterling, you can change the money in banks, bureaux de change offices, hotels and post offices.

• Transport: How to get around once you get here?

           Visiting London without getting on the metro, the bus or a taxi is almost impossible.                                          Although walking is a great choice, the long distances make it necessary to use urban transport.

• Airplane: We have traveled by American Airlines. The day of departure was is August 20 at  9am to London. 2 hours later we stopped in the USA, then continue the flight to London. And we reached to London at 4am. The flight to London is 13 hours. 

When we arrived in London we had lunch and we went to see Britney Spears show. At the end of the show we were very lucky  to have a dialogue with her.

How to get school from your home

Hi, my name is Katia and i live in Buenos Aires in the neighborhood of Retiro, Recoleta or Barrio Norte, i don´t know well, because in every map that i see my street belongs to another neirborhood. So, I live in Santa Fe Avenue.
Every day, I go to the Teather Colon so, I leave my home at seven o´clock. At half past twelve, the bus of the Teather Colon leaves Villa Luro for brings us to the school. Sometimes the trip is very long and boring because the street it´s a really mess. Normally, in the bus i have lunch, read a book, listen music, talk with my partners. These activities make more interesting and funny my trip.
It takes me 45 minutes, so i can do it all that.
When i get out of the bus, i go to my home for change my bag and bring the netbook. I walk 3 blocks, and i´m here, in the Sarmiento´s school.
